Under A Lucky Star: A Lifetime Of Adventure by Roy Chapman Andrews

I read this book back in January of 2021 and wrote the following reaction afterwards:

This morning I finished reading Under A Lucky Star: A Lifetime Of Adventure by Roy Chapman Andrews. It is a memoir by a man who was famous during the first half of the 20th century as a naturalist, archaeologist, and explorer. It is written In a conversational tone and was a lot of fun to read. Additionally, I learned a little bit about some history and geography, which I enjoy.

Something that struck me as coincidental is that much of the narration takes place in the same part of the world and at roughly the same time as the previous book I read, also a memoir. In fact, there is one spot in particular where Andrews mentions a person active in Mongolia during the Bolshevik Revolution who is a prominent character in the previous book I read. I read both of these two books on more or less of a whim. I knew very little to nothing about them and had no idea they had that sort of overlap. Synchronicity, or something!
