I picked this album up years ago at a thrift store back home. At the time I had never heard of Roberta Flack, but something about the album caught my eye. I gave it a listen and immediately loved it. Back then I worked at a tree nursery and we had a record player in the potting shed. We put on records when potting perennials in the spring, and I remember bringing this record in.

I haven’t listened to it in a long time because, due to some life circumstances, all my records are in storage.  I got the urge to hear her singing again and I looked the album up online. Here is one of the songs. Give the whole album a listen, if you are so inclined…it’s great.
