As I mentioned on the Guardian page, I got this 2 in 1 model kit a number of years ago at the beginning of the therapy I am currently doing. It was something to try, an interest I hadn’t explored since childhood.

I assembled and painted the other model in the kit first. Before too long, therapy had progressed into my upper back and it became difficult to work on tasks requiring fine motor skills without setting off muscle spasms. So I set the model kit aside.

Now, thankfully, I’m able to resume model-making to some degree! I often take frequent breaks, so a build takes awhile. I finally started the second model in the kit, the Battloid! It is so cool! I just love the process and the figure itself is really neat. I like how small yet detailed it is.

He’s not finished yet, but I’ve gotten enough done that I can put him together in a dry run to see how it all looks.
